• + How much does web design from Scoritz typically cost?

  A small site starts from around £59 a month, or £800 to own it outright; larger sites and shops are quoted individually. You can subscribe, or pay for the build and own it. Either way we fix the price in writing before any work starts. All prices exclude VAT at 20%.

• + How does paying monthly work?

  Our subscription rolls the build, hosting and ongoing care into one monthly fee, collected automatically each month through Stripe, so there's nothing big to pay up front. There's a minimum term of twelve months. After that it simply carries on month to month, for as long as it suits you. Pay a year up front instead and you get two months free. It's a service you subscribe to, not credit.

• + Can I cancel and keep my site?

  Once the twelve months are up you can cancel at any time, and the site is yours to take. We hand over a clean copy of everything, along with your domain settings and admin access. Your site is never locked to us.

• + Do you take a deposit?

  For larger projects, yes — a deposit books your slot before we start. Smaller standalone builds are split simply: half at kickoff, half on launch. On a monthly subscription there's nothing up front.

• + Do I have to use your hosting?

  No. Hosting and care come included in the monthly subscription, but we can drop them if you host elsewhere. Or buy the build outright and host it wherever you like.

• + Can I just have social media, without a website?

  Yes. Social media management is its own monthly plan — have it on its own, or alongside a site. Like hosting, it's optional. We shape it around your platforms, goals and budget, and price it on the work involved, not your website.

• + How long does a web project typically take?

  It depends on the service. Some jobs we can turn around the same day, others take longer. Whatever you go with, we stay on hand afterwards whenever you need us.

• + What is Scoritz's web design and development process?

  Four stages: a proper chat, design & build, launch, then ongoing care once it's live. Hosting is part of that care. Social media is a separate package, on its own or alongside the site. Structured and quick, with no long forms or surprise invoices.

• + What ongoing support and maintenance do you offer after launch?

  We host the site for you once it's live, with daily backups, free SSL and security monitoring built in. Updates, bug fixes and UK support you can call come with it, whenever you need them. Social media is a separate package if you'd like it too.

• + How do you handle revisions and feedback during the design process?

  We show you the site as we build it. You tell us what you want changed and we make the edits or fixes, however many it takes.

• + What makes Scoritz different from other web design agencies in West Sussex?

  We're usually cheaper than other agencies and we build it faster. It's the same people throughout, handling the site, its hosting and your social media, so nothing gets handed between teams or marked up. We're local too, if that helps.

• + Who will I be working with?

  Depending on what you need, that's either Phil, Debbie or Elliot. You deal with them straight, no one in between.

• + How does Scoritz ensure my website is mobile friendly and easy to use?

  We build for phones first and test it on real devices. Before it goes live we check it for accessibility and speed, and because we host it ourselves it stays fast and online afterwards.
