Privacy policy.

Plain-English summary of what we collect, why, and what your rights are under UK GDPR. Last updated 9 June 2026.

01

Who we are

Scoritz is a web design, hosting and social media studio based in Chichester, West Sussex. For any privacy question, email [email protected].

02

What we collect

When you submit the contact form we collect your name, email, phone number (optional), the services you’re interested in, and anything you type into “tell us more”. Separately, if you accept analytics we collect anonymous usage data through Google Analytics — which pages you view and rough device and browser information — to see what’s useful. We don’t collect any of it until you opt in, and it never includes your name or contact details.

03

How we use it

We use your details to reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote. That’s it. We do not sell your data, share it with marketers, or sign you up to mailing lists. Quote-related correspondence is kept while a project is active and for up to 24 months after, then deleted.

04

Cookies & third parties

With your consent this site uses Google Analytics 4. Until you accept, it runs in a cookieless mode that stores nothing on your device; if you accept it sets first-party _ga cookies to count visits. Google Analytics 4 does not log or retain IP addresses. Google acts as our processor for this data — see Google’s privacy policy. We also load Google Fonts from fonts.googleapis.com so the typography renders correctly. You can turn analytics on or off any time on the Manage cookies page.

05

Hosting

Our site and our clients’ sites are hosted in the UK. Daily encrypted backups are kept for 30 days then rotated. Data at rest is encrypted; data in transit is served over HTTPS.

06

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email [email protected] and we’ll respond within 30 days. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
